Engineering Resume

Patents and Publications

During my studies in Electrical Engineering, I solved real-life challenges by innovatively devising devices using the knowledge gained at university. I registered these devices with the Iran Patent Office as it was a good way to introduce the innovative idea to others and at the same time legally protect it. I think nowadays the evolution of technology has significantly changed the patenting landscape, for example, many physical devices have been replaced by simple applications on mobile phones.

Patents:

  • Oxygen and Carbon Dioxide Regulator Device 2011
Regulating oxygen and carbon-dioxide elements by employing actuators and suppliers to provide an air-controlling mechanism for industrial and household purposes. Co-invented by Hosein Mirzaee. IranPatent 69630.
  • Combinational Alphabet Device 2011
Teaching the Persian alphabet and its basic rules of letter combinations in words to beginners. Co-invented by Fezzeh Kheradpishe. IranPatent 69128.
  • Personal Library’s Data Management Device 2009
Providing a compact, user-friendly, and portable device for not-small household libraries, when it becomes difficult for a person to memorize all the books’ names and places. Co-invented by Hosein Mirzaee. IranPatent 57910.
  • Time programmable Switch 2008
programming electric switches to optimize energy consumption, protect electrical devices, and control some equipment at low cost. IranPatent 52941.
  • Device Monitoring and Controlling the Amount of Oxygen in an Environment and Supplying Fresh Air 2008
adjusting air’s oxygen amount based on demand, to improve live creatures’ health by long-term air monitoring. Co-invented by Hosein Mirzaee. IranPatent 47048.

Publication:

During my training course at Iran’s Khorasan Science and Technology Park, I contributed to the journal article:

“ACPR Prediction of a CDMA Power Amplifier” by Abbas Pourzaki, Hosein Mirzaee, Elaheh Mirzaee, published in Current Development in Theory and Applications of Computer Science, Engineering and Technology, Vol. 2, No. 1/2, 2010.

Below I put images of patent certificates. There are two styles of certificates based on the time they were registered. Personally, I prefer the old-style certificates with real ribbons and a golden mark on top :).
