Tabriz
Arasbaran biosphere. The two-trees photo shows 1 tree in fog and the other in clear air. In the panorama photo, you can see moving clouds, being in this area was one of the best experiences in my life, at one point we were covered in clouds, next minute it was clear for 100s of meters, next minute we couldn’t see cars just a few meters away. The river is Aras, one side of it is Iran and the other side is Azerbaijan and Armenia. The houses with smokey chimneys made me feel like I’m in a movie, in the middle of spring in a cold jungle full of purple and yellow flowers, they are not in this photo though 🙂 .
Kandovan village has houses built in rocks, still people live there and they have no gas line and use donkeies to transfer heavy things.
Tabriz has many historic houses, some of them have turned into museum.
