Creating with pressed flowers or feathers is always an adventure, as I never know what the final piece will look like and I decide putting each piece one after another. These photos were taken over the years so some have low quality.
Mosaic Art
In the photo with tea and biscuits, you can see my mosaic work, as well as a vase I designed and cubic jars I painted. The glass contains brewed herbal tea, and the large jar holds rock candy, which is traditionally used to sweeten tea in Iran.
The Wooden Mosaic Work is done in 2002, when I was studying in high school. It is part of a Persian Poem that means “water does not reach a field which is high”, its meaning is written in small font above it saying be down to earth if you want to gain wisdom.
Feather Collage
The first three photos are the ones in the photo with hung wall-hangings, they represent the elements: fire and soil in one panel, and wind and water in the other two panels. These collages were made in 2009, except the one with the pyrography bird in the middle.
Pressed Flower Collage
Working with delicate flower petals is amazing as each petal is an masterpiece itself.
Trying Different styles
My 3D work is also a kind of collage in my opinion. I mixed African and Persian elements as I think their combination concludes a beautiful, delicate, strong and warm outcome. I also made an structure like pyramid and a structure somehow like a travel tent with clay to complement these elements.
The painting here is a collage with fabric, and it looks much better in person that its photo.
These pieces reflect my love for experimenting with different materials and techniques, each one a testament to the beauty of spontaneous creativity. If you have any questions or thoughts about my work, feel free to share!
