Tehran Province

These photos belong to my visit to Tehran in 2013.

One of the highlights of my visit was Golestan Palace, an exquisite UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest historic monuments in Tehran. Built during the Safavid dynasty and expanded by the Qajar kings, the palace complex showcases a breathtaking mix of Persian architecture and European art, with mirror-tiled halls, intricate mosaics, and elegant gardens. Golestan Palace is a testament to Iran’s royal history, offering an intricate glimpse into the luxury and artistic innovation of the past. There are so many photos including me because my friend was learning photography at that time and I was her model 🙂 .
